Cars, robots, and planes as edge cloud supply on Akash

How do data scientist get into blockchain? Greg Osuri - The Data Scientist Show #007 (The Data Scientist Show)

“If you think of electric vehicles that are essentially data centers on wheels — some of these cars have about six to seven high-end GPUs that could potentially come on Akash. Elon Musk introduced this whole notion of the Tesla bot, and that’s sitting on at least four to five GPUs that’ll be charged in the evening and has really not using those GPUs — those could be on Akash. So I think we have a great future of unused capacity. The cloud capacity is on the edge, whether it’s a robot or a car or a plane — that can all come onto Akash in a permissionless manner.” — 00:04:19

Context: Early articulation of his edge/idle-device supply thesis; also cites Ethereum’s move from proof-of-work to proof-of-stake “unlocking all this excess supply for GPUs.”
